Elise Wrolstad is a writer, an extraordinary survivor of perilous adventures, a warrior, and a salty Aquarian. She is a former Special Education teacher and lives in Kenyon, Minnesota. Elise is working on coming to terms with her eating disorder and searching for pieces of grace between the cracks of darkness and light. She was a competitive athlete and endured the required weekly weigh-ins from her coach, thus beginning the cycle of starvation and binge eating. Elise believes in the power of second chances. She is a near-death survivor and fully grasps the ideal of living out loud and taking up space. Elise cannot say no to tattoos, coffee, or sleeping late. She loves oversized bulky sweaters and the four seasons, and she enjoys her family's fifth generation farmstead.
