Patricia is author of a series of inclusive, mindful children's books on social-emotional themes, published by Milet in English and 17 bilingual editions. A longtime advocate for bilingual books and translated literature, she is the cohost of a popular webinar series, Explorations in Translation for Children, organized by the Centre for Book Cultures and Publishing at the University of Reading, England, and Outside In World. She is a wisdom worker who advises publishing and media clients, and a mindfulness and meditation guide, teaching worldwide online and in-person in Athens, Greece. Manuela graduated with a degree in Fine Arts from the Complutense University of Madrid in 1997. She taught drawing and painting at the Rita Luna studio for two years, then she began working on illustration and animation projects for various companies, which she continues to do today. She is motivated by any project where she can contribute creatively and where there is enjoyment and enrichment. Of her series for Milet, Manuela said, "Working with Patricia has been delightful and inspiring. I've enjoyed the process, and that's very important to me." Manuela lives in small town near Madrid, Spain, surrounded by beautiful mountains and nature.
