Barry Finlay is an accomplished and award-winning author known for works such as the travel adventure Kilimanjaro and Beyond - A Life-Changing Journey (co-authored with his son Chris), the humorous memoir I Guess We Missed the Boat, and the motivational title Just Keep Climbing. He has also authored five bestselling and award-winning thrillers within The Marcie Kane Thriller Collection: The Vanishing Wife, A Perilous Question, Remote Access, Never So Alone, and The Burden of Darkness.His recent work includes the Jake Scott Mystery Series, beginning with Searching for Truth, The Guardians of Truth, and The Secret Truth, followed by his latest release, Shadows of Truth. Barry was recognized in the 2012-13 Authors Show's edition of "50 Great Writers You Should Be Reading" and has received the Queen Elizabeth Diamond Jubilee Medal for his efforts in raising funds to support children in Tanzania. He currently resides in Ottawa, Canada, with his wife, Evelyn.
