A highly skilled physician-executive and health educator, Dr. Block's administrative responsibilities included value-based care initiatives, clinical transformation and innovation, managed healthcare, population and public health management, quality improvement science, environmental health, climate change, and stakeholder engagement/empowerment. He holds multiple clinical and administrative certifications and has contributed extensively to the healthcare field as the author of several books, peer-reviewed publications, and scientific abstracts.
