Kyosuke Kamishiro is a Japanese author from Kyoto known for contributions to light novels and manga. Kamishiro is best known for My Stepmom's Daughter Is My Ex (Mamahaha no Tsurego ga Motokano Datta), which began as a web novel on Kakuyomu in 2017 and was later published as a light novel series by Kadokawa starting in 2018, with illustrations by Takayaki. The story centers on two former middle school sweethearts who become step-siblings after their parents remarry. A manga adaptation by Rei Kusakabe began serialization in 2019, and an anime adaptation produced by Project No.9 aired in 2022. Kamishiro has also written other works, including Sherlock Academy and Boku ga Kotaeru Kimi no Nazotoki. Rei Kusakabe is a Japanese manga artist best known for illustrating the manga adaptation of My Stepmom's Daughter Is My Ex (Mamahaha no Tsurego ga Motokano Datta), which began serialization on Niconico Seiga's Dra Dra Sharp and Dra Dra Flat platforms in April 2019. Kusakabe has also worked on other manga titles, including Ore no Megane wa Tabun Sekai Seifuku Dekiru to Omou. and Hiota no Kanojo ga Ore no Motteru Eroge ni Kyomi Shinshin Nandaga. Additionally, Kusakabe has served as both author and artist for works such as Akiba's Trip 2, The iDOLM@STER: Your Mess@ge, and Iinari!! Kyuuketsuhime.
