Three times the mystery. Three times the mayhem. All in one purrfectly hilarious collection! Join Max-the sharp-witted feline sleuth-and his quirky clowder as they tackle their wildest cases yet in Purrfect Gang, Purrfect Ruckus, and Purrfect Ransom. In Purrfect Gang, a string of cryptic disappearances-including a missing uncle, a vanishing gran, and a suspicious murder case-sets Max and the gang on a chaotic, rat-infested rescue mission. Then, it's off to the English countryside in Purrfect Ruckus, where stolen crown jewels, aristocratic scandals, and one very angry pig threaten to spark international conflict. And finally, in Purrfect Ransom, a full-blown kidnapping case takes center stage-complete with clueless crooks, a missing police safe, and Tex channeling his inner action hero. Spoiler: it's terrifying. Whether they're untangling conspiracies or dodging dogs, Max & Co always land on their feet-and usually with a snarky comment or two. Packed with cozy charm, eccentric humans, and cats who clearly know better, this omnibus is the purrfect treat for mystery lovers and feline fanatics alike!
Autorenporträt
Nic has a background in political science and before being struck by the writing bug worked odd jobs around the world (including but not limited to massage therapist in Mexico, gardener in Italy, restaurant manager in India, and Berlitz teacher in Belgium). When he's not writing he enjoys curling up with a good (comic) book, watching British crime dramas, French comedies or Nancy Meyers movies, sampling pastry (apple cake!), pasta and chocolate (preferably the dark variety), twisting himself into a pretzel doing morning yoga, going for a brisk walk, and spoiling his cats Ricky and Lily.He lives with his wife (and aforementioned cats) in a small village smack dab in the middle of absolutely nowhere and is probably writing his next 'Mysteries of Max' book right now.
