Robovacs, rogue swimming lessons, and a flaming box in the attic-just another week for Max & Co. Max has always considered himself a reasonable cat. He enjoys the simple things: naps, kibble, avoiding unnecessary stress. But lately, life in Hampton Cove has been anything but relaxing. First, he's kicked out of his own home, hunted by vacuum cleaners (both manual and robotic), and forced into a full-blown war with two overzealous cleaning ladies who think cats are best kept outside. Rude. Then, as if trauma by Roomba wasn't enough, Odelia has the audacity to install an inflatable pool... and announces swim lessons for cats. Max's attempts to flee the scene are epic-and entirely justified. And just when Max thinks things can't get worse, he and his fellow feline sleuths find themselves locked in a box in the attic. A box that someone sets on fire. It's a scorching mystery, and survival is not guaranteed. This omnibus edition includes Purrfect Cover, Purrfect Patsy, and Purrfect Son-three delightfully chaotic cozy mysteries filled with danger, drama, and a whole lot of cat-itude.
Autorenporträt
Nic has a background in political science and before being struck by the writing bug worked odd jobs around the world (including but not limited to massage therapist in Mexico, gardener in Italy, restaurant manager in India, and Berlitz teacher in Belgium). When he's not writing he enjoys curling up with a good (comic) book, watching British crime dramas, French comedies or Nancy Meyers movies, sampling pastry (apple cake!), pasta and chocolate (preferably the dark variety), twisting himself into a pretzel doing morning yoga, going for a brisk walk, and spoiling his cats Ricky and Lily.He lives with his wife (and aforementioned cats) in a small village smack dab in the middle of absolutely nowhere and is probably writing his next 'Mysteries of Max' book right now.
