Michael Amadihe Ezugu è nato il 20 agosto 1946 a Nkpologu-Nsukka, in Nigeria. Si è formato presso l'Università della Nigeria, a Nsukka, per il BA, il MA e il PhD in Inglese e Studi Letterari. Le istituzioni in cui ha insegnato includono due politecnici e quattro università: Madonna University Okija, Università della Nigeria Nsukka, Università Caritas Amorji-Nike, Enugu.
