Born and raised in the vibrant city of Chicago, Illinois, Joelena Spencer is a former recording artist and accomplished vocalist. She built a successful music career, signing with Qwest Records and working under the management of Blackground Music, fully immersing herself in the creative world of artistry and performance.In 2002, inspired by the birth of her daughters, Joelena shifted her artistic focus to writing. This passion led to the creation of Nani and The Magic Quilt, a heartfelt and imaginative book named after her daughter Nadia.
