Tonino Tornitore graduated in Philosophy at the University of Genoa, at present he is a researcher in Theory of Literature in the same University. His research is into the history of synaesthesia and the theory of synaesthetic figures of speech. For several years, he has been researching mainly into narration (the formal categories of the tale).
