Autorenporträt
Michael Linder, writing as Merv Straus, hails from Elgin, Illinois. At 17, he volunteered for military service, including a tour in Korea. Utilizing the GI Bill, he graduated as a Rho Chi Scholar with dual degrees in Pharmacy from North Dakota State University. In 1967, he met his wife, Pat, and began a distinguished career with the Veteran's Administration, culminating as Director of the VA Medical Center in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania, after serving as a White House Interchange Executive. Now retired, Michael and Pat travel internationally, fueling his passion for writing adult novels, including The Ninth Guardian.
