Born and raised in New Jersey, author Mike Popovitch had always been an explorer, often going on wild adventures all over the state. His passion for seeking abandoned places coupled with a love of history always led him to unusual places and events that time may have forgotten. His passion for exploring led him to living in Eureka, NV for 25 years where he continually explored the out of the way places.
