Geboren am 18. August 1994. Im Jahr 1963 schloss er die russische Schule mit einer Silbermedaille ab. Im Jahr 1969 schloss er sein Studium an der Georgischen Technischen Universität mit Auszeichnung ab. Im Jahr 1973 verteidigte er seine Kandidatendissertation in Tiflis und 1982 seine Doktorarbeit in Moskau.
