Rafael Goldwaser obteve o seu Mestrado em História do Teatro e o Diploma de Estudos Superiores de Teatro (DEA) na Universidade Paris VIII. É autor de numerosas publicações sobre pedagogia teatral. Desde 1992, quando fundou o "Le Théâtre en l'Air" em Estrasburgo, dedica-se exclusivamente ao teatro iídiche e à cultura iídiche. Apresenta-se em todo o mundo.
