Colleen Booher grew up in Three Springs, Pennsylvania. She taught elementary school for thirty years in Pennsylvania and Florida, where she developed a passion for helping young people grow excited about reading. In addition to writing, she enjoys cooking, watching old westerns, and taking long walks with her Havadoodle, Annie. She currently resides near Pittsburgh.
