Produktbeschreibung
No Reflection encourages those who seek spiritual growth and understanding perception vs perspective. No Reflection shows the cause and effects that help readers see that the end preexists in the means. Self-evaluation must be encouraged if we hope to obtain a higher level of understanding about what we do and why we do it. We have to be honest with ourselves regarding our true motivations which lead directly to our actions. No Reflection encourages readers to see the cause and effect of their actions, vanity, selfishness, integrity, greed, and deception, among others, have each a chapter in this book. Each chapter in the book covers a topic, such as love and forgiveness and then they all follow the same formula of having different quotes and speculation on these quotes.
Autorenporträt
Author Christopher Johnson writes this book from a position of freedom because he is not a pastor or an officer in a church, and therefore, not subject to restrictions from a board of church elders or denominational beliefs. Because he has no formal theological training, there is also no bias given to a particular school of thought. Instead, he offers the perspective of a faithful witness for Christ, with the goal of insuring that He gains all glory. The author thinks that this is vital because oftentimes the truth is made up of bits and pieces of multiple opposing viewpoints.
