No Worries in Heaven is a source of comfort for a husband who has suddenly lost his mate. Though death is a subject that is difficult to approach and prepare for, everyone must face this someday. Doug describes the joy of falling in love with Vivian, asking her to marry him, and serving the Lord together throughout their 50-year relationship. In all relationships there are rough areas that need sanding, and though their marriage was good, they wanted to understand more about each other. Vivian had discovered that she had breast cancer, and it was of a type that was difficult to treat. After chemotherapy, surgery, and radiation, she thought the battle was won. But tests showed that the cancer cells were still present, and they migrated to her lungs and liver. She worked as a massage therapist and had done three massages the day before she went to the hospital with breathing problems. She passed away ten days later. Doug talks about the shock of losing her so suddenly and the flurry of decisions he needed to make over the course of the next few months. But comfort came with a picture in his mind of Vivian with Jesus and the mansion in the background. She was working on His stripes, using her alabaster box of costly oil. Doug also has prepared a practical list of decisions a bereaved husband must make after the death of his wife, and how he must maintain composure throughout the process of grieving, sorting through stuff and taking care of financial and legal issues.

Douglas B. Sharp grew up on a dairy farm in Lansing, Michigan and has always enjoyed the study of science and history. During high school and college, he conducted chemistry experiments on the origin of amino acids and proteins, and the results persuaded him that the evolutionary origin of life is impossible. He retired after serving the Department of Natural Resources at the State of Michigan through the Department of Technology, Management and Budget for 20 years. His relationship with his wife Vivian lasted 50 years, but she is now in heaven with the Lord after losing her battle with cancer. Doug has written several books, mostly about the creation and evolution controversy and history. His first book, Revolution Against Evolution, was first published in 1986 and a second edition in 1993. A new edition is in preparation. In 2008, he published Persuaded by the Evidence through Master Books and in 2014, Transformed by the Evidence through Leafcutter Press. In 1993, he began producing a television show and YouTube channel called Revolution Against Evolution, which continues to the present with over 900 episodes. Currently Doug volunteers as a docent for the Michigan History Center near the Michigan State Capitol building and published a book called Dr. Hale's Home Remedy and Recipe Book from a historic handwritten doctor's handbook found in his grandmother's attic.
