Produktbeschreibung
This book will address questions about the (a)normalization of deaf students in various everyday situations of school life in regular classrooms in the São Paulo state public school system. It will also allow the reader to understand the view that many education professionals have of deaf students who learn from an inclusive perspective, through an education called bilingual by legislation and which aims to approach the term "deafness" from a socio-anthropological perspective. With the aim of recording and analyzing episodes of (a)normalization in three inclusive classrooms in the chosen school, the author adopts a qualitative and exploratory methodology, using non-participatory observation with a semi-structured script as a data collection technique. To enrich the research and classroom observations, a bibliographical survey was carried out to investigate the normalization of deaf students throughout history, whether through education, institutionalization or the medical sciences, permeating clinical, psychological, social and legislative issues on the subject.
