Autorenporträt
Professor Mark Bagley was educated at the University of Oxford (BA 1991; DPhil 1994 with Prof L M Harwood), with post-doctoral studies at the Université de Genève (with Prof W Oppolzer), Loughborough and Exeter (with Prof C J Moody), before being appointed as a Lecturer in Organic Chemistry at Cardiff University in 1999. He stayed at Cardiff for 13 years, being promoted to a Senior Lecturereship in Organic Chemistry in 2004 and a Reader in 2006, before taking up his current position as Professor of Organic Chemistry at the University of Sussex in February 2012. He is the Professor of Organic Chemistry in the School of Life Sciences. He delivers many of the taught modules in Synthetic Organic Chemistry as part of the Chemistry degree programmes offered by the University and leads a vibrant research team in the School. Prof Bagley also serve as Chair of the Chemistry Exam Board. Professor James M Coxon: B.Sc. 1962 University of New Zealand; M.Sc.(lst class) 1963; Ph.D. 1965, University of Canterbury.
