Steve Almond has been a writer and editor for over 20 years. He is the author of the essay collection (Not that You Asked): Rants, Exploits, and Obsessions; the story collections My Life in Heavy Metal and The Evil B.B. Chow; the nonfiction book Candyfreak; and the novel Which Brings Me to You , cowritten with Julianna Baggott. Originally from Pennsylvania, he lives outside Boston with his wife and two children, and listens to rock and roll at all hours.
