They joined us for one brief scene in Right Where They Belong: Sutton Series Book 1. Now they're back to tell us their own story. Thomas Schaefer:A quiet, hard-working guy who's only ever loved one woman. Problem is, he never had the courage to tell her that before she moved away.Elizabeth Shepard:Just moved home to take a demanding job and look after her parents. There's little room in her schedule for romance-and even less in her emotional bank. Add in struggles with family and a couple of difficult friends, and their challenge card is complete. Though they share a history uniquely their own and a mutual desire for a life of faith, if they want any chance at building that life, Thomas and Elizabeth must navigate through all of this. Together. Not What They Expected Welcome to Sutton, the fictional small town in Ohio where the people are real and things like faith and love can blossom.
It's funny how quickly you become something. When I wrote "Right Where They Belong: Sutton Series Book 1", suddenly I was an author. In the past I've been a homeschool mom, the egg lady, a church pianist, the goat lady, a bookkeeper, and even on occasion, the cat lady. I am most especially enjoying being an author lady-writing stories of faith, hope, and love. Stories about relationship and navigating through whatever life throws your way. These days my husband Christopher is painting, and I'm writing. (Bookkeeping too; still have to earn a living, you know.) While our two sons are off conquering the world, we're hanging out in rural Ohio with lots of animals-and plenty of small towns nearby.
