Novel approaches for targeting oxidative stress in cancer and cardiovascular diseases are also explored.

The book then moves on to discuss advances in drug delivery systems and detecting oxidative stress biomarkers using biosensors. It concludes with case studies that illustrate the targeting of oxidative stress and future perspectives.

Prof. Pawan Kumar Maurya is the Dean of the School of Lifelong Learning and Head of the Department of Biochemistry at the Central University of Haryana, India. He earned his Ph.D. from the University of Allahabad (a Central University), India, and completed postdoctoral training at Universidade Federal de São Paulo (UNIFESP), Brazil; Taipei Medical University (TMU); and National Taiwan University (NTU), Taiwan.

With over 14 years of teaching and research experience, Prof. Maurya specializes in biochemical diagnostics, nanomedicine, and clinical biochemistry. He has published more than 75 research articles in leading journals and has edited six books with Elsevier (USA) and Springer Nature (Singapore).

He is the recipient of prestigious fellowships, including Science Without Borders (Government of Brazil) and the National Science Council (Taiwan).

Dr. Imteyaz Qamar is working as an assistant professor at School of biotechnology, Gautam Buddha University, Greater Noida, India. His area on interest is Stress biology, and Cancer Genetics

He earned his Ph.D. in Molecular Endocrinology from Chonnam National University, South Korea with an emphasis on gene regulation and physiological function of an androgen receptor corepressor-19kD using mice model. He has written various manuscripts, grants, progress reports, pre-IND protocols, animal protocols and published in well reputed international journals. He has also received various awards such as Brain Korea-21 Best Research presenter award 2007, Bharath Vikas award 2016, Young Scientist Award 2017 & 2019, STE meritorious award 2019 etc. He serves as a member of editorial boards of various peer reviewed journals. He is also a member of the endocrinology society, United States of America (USA).
