Dr. Kaufui V. Wong is a professor of mechanical and aerospace engineering at the University of Miami. His research areas are in energy and environment, nanotechnology. He has published over 200-refereed papers in journals and conferences, has authored textbooks on thermodynamics, is a life Fellow of the American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME), and received the 2015 ASME Dixy Lee Ray Award, an achievement award for environmental protection. He is the 2016 Engineers' Council Awardee for the Distinguished Engineering Educator, a lifetime achievement award for 37 plus years of service in research and education. Dr. Wong is a popular invited keynote speaker in international conferences and is the editor-in-chief of the Journal of Modern Mechanical Engineering and Technology and of Journal of Renewable Bioresources. He is the editorial board member of numerous journals, including journals in the medical sciences.
