Acting on the information from a suspect captured in Algeria, Detective Geneviève Benoit and her partner Detective (Captain) Claude Lemieux begin tracking the movement of members of 'Papillion Transport', a mysterious shipping firm transporting drugs throughout the Mediterranean. While investigating Papillion Transport, they learn of a plot to kidnap a French police officer by Italian mafia members. Along the way, they become involved in a gun battle with the Algerian drug smuggler Nazim Aziz in an attempt to free one of his own from the police.

Anthony is a first generation American and native Californian, the son of Scottish immigrants. His father Peter was born in Glasgow and his mother Catherine was born in Edinburgh. Anthony's fraternal grandparents, Michael and Margaret were both born in Ireland.
Anthony is married to his high school sweetheart, Mary, and has been blessed with two daughters, Rebekah and Jennifer.
A product of a mixed education (part parochial and part public schools), he developed a thirst for reading early in his childhood, and took to writing fiction as an escape from his work as an Instructional Systems Designer.
When not working on improving his writing, Anthony can be found on the local golf course, honing his game invented by his ancestors.
