This book helps us to understand that, despite the abundance of literature on the 2 central concepts of work climate and agent involvement in work, it is clear that few studies have examined the link between them. Thus, this book provides a better understanding of the object of the study through the formulation of three operational hypotheses in order to test the influence of three independent variables - material working conditions, interpersonal relations and merit-based promotion - on work involvement, the dependent variable of the study. To this end, the methodological approach was based on the collection of field data from a questionnaire administered to a sample of 225 employees of all genders and grades. Descriptive and inferential analyses were carried out to better define the importance of the study in general, and within the Defence and Security Forces in particular.
