Alexandra Sanchez is the author of the Okelani's Enchanted Wheelchair book series and founder of KamOke Publishing. Kamoke Publishing is named after her daughters, Kamea and Oklelani. She is an entrepreneur and fashion designer, but most importantly a mother/caregiver. As a special needs mother to Okelani, she saw firsthand the lack of books representing kids with disabilities and special needs. This book is for all children to enjoy and to learn from. Sheila is a PAL artist of the Society of Children's Book Writers and Illustrators. She has illustrated many children's books and book covers.
