Brian Murdoch is Professor Emeritus of German at the University of Stirling. His works include Old High German Literature (1983), Kudrun (1987), and The Germanic Hero (1996). He previously translated Waltharius: The Latin Epic of Walther of Aquitaine (2025) for Uppsala Books.
