After being supernaturally returned to Arizona in search of his kidnapped daughter, Ben DePaula spirals into madness. Desperate for justice, he takes matters into his own hands-torturing a man who looks exactly like Aes Sidhe chief James Casbolt. Meanwhile, Casbolt returns from Iraq to unsettling news: a double in Arizona and whispers of a secretive Cabal manipulating events behind the scenes. As paranoia sets in, he begins to question his own sanity. Joshua Tanr¿över heads back to the Southwest to help uncover the truth behind the Shinar Mission-revealing it was a trap by the Alliance to resurrect an ancient, malevolent god. A god powerful enough to destroy the Galactic Tyrant-and possibly all of civilization. In a world of deception, no one can be trusted. The Cabal and the Alliance will sacrifice anyone to achieve their hidden agendas.
