His designs follow the templates computed by Omni, an all-encompassing artificial superintelligence. Until one day, his robotic surgeon botches up a surgery. High on prescribed neuro-enhancers, Mark hacks together a fix to save his client's life, but stumbles upon a dark secret buried deep within Omni's programming that sends him into the arms of Kéo, a mysterious rebel who seduces him to challenge the powers controlling their fully automated world.
