Autorenporträt
John Tully is an Australian historian and novelist. He lives in the far south of Tasmania but lived and worked in Melbourne's west for 35 years. He grew up in Tasmanian hydro construction towns after emigrating with his parents as a child from the UK, and before becoming a history professor he earned his living as a rigger in construction and heavy industry. He is the author of numerous non-fiction publications including a short history of Cambodia and a social history of the world rubber industry. This is his seventh novel.
