Autorenporträt
Sarah Massini began her career as a graphic designer, where highlights included the design and illustration of a set of postage stamps for the Royal Mail. She then moved to children's publishing, firstly as an art editor and later as a full-time illustrator and author. She is the critically acclaimed and best-selling illustrator of many books for children including The Girl and the Dinosaur, classics The Little Prince  and The Velveteen Rabbit, and most recently A Home for Spark the Dragon  with actor and activist Michael Sheen, in support of Shelter. Sarah's long-held ambition to write as well as illustrate has culminated in Once Upon a Tiger, to be published in 2026 by Simon & Schuster. Her picture books have been translated into 37 languages.
