Born and raised in the Canadian suburb of Brampton, Ontario, Jake Howard developed a love of storytelling at a very young age. It really didn't matter what form said stories came in-books, games, movies or television-there were few things young Jake loved more than being whisked away on fantastical, high-octane adventures. Combining that love of tall tales with an even brighter passion for history and his lofty writing ambitions, Jake set about crafting his very own action-packed, heartfelt tale to sit alongside the world's incredible and vast canon of historical fiction pieces. Whilst it's definitely nothing akin to the works of Hemingway (or other authors with legitimate talent), the author sincerely hopes that you enjoy reading this book as much as he enjoyed writing it!
