This is a story about a little girl who got cancer. It was no fault of her own. It is just one of those things that happens sometimes to a certain percentage of kids in the world. The mother should have had the help of her husband, but he was falsely accused of a murder his secretary committed to prevent the manager from telling her husband she had had an affair. So the short mother does not have her husband to help her get through all the trauma. She has to go it alone. The little girl has a pet crow that she rescued. It is a dear pet, and in the story, it is the only thing that can break her out of the coma she is in because of a tumor in her brain. She also has Wilm's Tumor in both kidneys. The brain tumor enables her to communicate with her angel, who helps her a lot. He even introduces her to Jesus and takes her up to heaven via a vision so she can see the beautiful mansion Jesus made for her. In her mansion, there is also a crow that talks. Yes, This Pet crow talks. There are people on the side trying to look at alternate cancer treatments that may bring hope to the family. The crow solves the mystery of the murder. He rescues a letter from the fire that the secretary was trying to burn to destroy all evidence linking her to the murder of the manager. The family lives on a ranch and has goats. They milk the goats as well. In the end, the girl asks her angel for "One Drop of Forever." He or Jesus grants her request, and a miracle happens. Her brain tumor is cured, but she still has to deal with the tumors in her kidneys. The family has lots of struggles. They think progress is being made only to get knocked down, but they keep getting up and pressing on, dealing with events as they come, and in the end, the husband is acquitted of the murder to be reunited with his wife and daughter.
Creativity is the driving force. It is easy to read a book, but to write one gives a person a chance to compose the story and use imagination to bring it home to the readers. Pen descriptions are important. If an author can imagine something and then portray it in a book in such a way that others can catch that vision, this is satisfying. Have you ever wished a book or movie would have had a different ending? As an author, you can choose the ending you like best. I also believe a person should be able to make a little judgment about the content of a book by looking at its cover. The cover is the first impression a prospective reader sees. It should be one that draws them to explore it more, to read it, and while doing so, to live the adventure as if they were right there as the story unfolds. Writing is one of the most powerful and satisfying forms of creativity. It is wonderful when the story is already written and the author tunes in. Characters are born, live, and die. They demand the author listen to what they have to say; let them help in directing the whole.
