Richard Bean was the first playwright to win the Evening Standard Award for Best Play for two plays, The Heretic and One Man, Two Guvnors. The New York production of One Man, Two Guvnors was awarded the 2012 Outer Critics' Circle Award for Outstanding New Broadway Play. He has written numerous other plays for the stage and radio, including Great Britain (National Theatre), Made in Dagenham: The Musical (West End), England People Very Nice (National Theatre), The Mentalists (National Theatre) and Jack Absolute Flies Again (National Theatre). David Gram is Assistant Professor of Theatre (Directing and Acting) at Oakland University, US. He also works as a professional theatre and opera director, actor, dramaturg and teacher.
