Celina Exner is an author from Germany with a love for stories that cross borders, both geographical and emotional. She was born on August 26 of 2005 and raised in Helmstedt, Germany up until she started her own exchange year. This excerpt from her debut novel, One Year to Fall, was inspired by her own exchange year, her fascination with cultural exchange, first love, and the magic of new beginnings. She spend a year abroad in Nebraska, USA and wanted to create a story based on some personal experiences. When she is not writing, she enjoys to go for a ride with her horse, read books, be a model, study for her Management studies, and drink coffee while daydreaming about her next adventure.
