This book is based on Environment perseverance to check if any intruder entered. User is alerted through a common platform like Gmail. The main aim of this project is intruder detection by detecting its motion and to specify the object that is moving. In this we use camera for tracking the real world. Camera is connected to Raspberry Pi and this is integrated with OpenCV. Camera records the real world and when motion is detected in the environment, it sends the live video to the authorized person through the Gmail. An image is captured and stored in a file and is read in BGR format then the image is converted into GRAY format for further processing. An image is taken from the video and this undergoes image processing through OpenCV and detects the objects present in the image Raspberry pi used to interface camera module and code is written in it. OpenCV is used to write all the operational code. Object recognition is done through OpenCV to detect the objects inside the image. Gmail is an application which is used here to send the live video and images to the authorized person.
