L'autore di questo libro, il dottor Shashikant D. Wadkar, si è laureato in Ayurveda a Kolhapur nel 1995 e ha poi conseguito il titolo di Dottore in Medicina (M.D.) presso la Maharashtra University of Health Sciences di Nashik, nel 2010. Attualmente lavora come professore associato presso il G J Patel Institute Of Ayurvedic Studies & Research, New V V Nagar Anand Gujarat.
