Furthermore, for the first time, laser induced autofluorescence spectra recorded in situ from dental plaque accumulated on tooth surface shows the applicability of this technique in discrimination between various grades of plaque clinically.

Dr. Betsy Joseph ist Assistenzprofessorin für Parodontologie an der King Khalid University (Saudi-Arabien) mit Forschungsschwerpunkten in den Bereichen photodynamische Therapie und laserinduzierte Autofluoreszenzspektroskopie. Dr. Subhash Narayanan ist ein preisgekrönter Biophotonik-Wissenschaftler, der sich mit mehr als 30 Jahren Forschungserfahrung bei NCESS, Indien, selbstständig gemacht hat.
