Autorenporträt
Elizabeth Blake has written and published fifteen novels, six novellas, and over a dozen short stories and poems under different pseudonyms. Many of her works have been translated into other languages. She won the Euphoria Poetry Competition and the Eve of St. Agnes Poetry Award and was nominated twice for the Pushcart Poetry Prize. Blake has also won first prize in the Maxim Mazumdar Playwriting Competition, the Chronogram Literary Fiction Prize, the Jerry Jazz Musician Short Fiction Award, and the Jean Paiva Memorial Fiction Award. Blake has also been a finalist in the McLaren, MSU, and Henrico playwriting competitions. Blake participates in writer residencies at the Hawthornden Foundation, as well as the Lacawac, Byrdcliffe, and Karun colonies.
