But, on a cold and windy November afternoon the postman called, and his life fell apart after Inspector Tommy Watt, had informed him, that his parents had been murdered! Thankfully the Captain's daughter Miranda helped him through the trauma much to her mother disgust. But true love won the day and in (1974) and she walked down the aisle on her fathers arm, whilst Richard's nemesis sat outside in the Church car park plotting his demise. And as Richard's career blossomed, so had his nemesis' relationship with his wife, until he overheard him bragging about their sexual exploits, and he dropped down onto his knees. 'Big boy's don't cry, ' his Mother would say after he'd taken a fall. But he did then, and sort retribution.
