Autorenporträt
Unlike many authors, Linda Hansen never considered writing a book until a friend encouraged her to write a children's picture book. One year later, Linda was a successful author and illustrator of two creative children's books. In 1999, in a casual discussion, Linda recounted the time she met a jazz musician. Similar conversations continued over the years, and an acquaintance finally said, "You should write a book." Multiple people offered the same suggestion, and Rubbing Shoulders came to be.Linda grew up in St. Louis, Missouri, and currently lives in Florida with her husband and their dog. After retiring from her career as a non-profit executive director, she finally found the time to follow her creative passions. She enjoys expressing her love of art and nature in her watercolor paintings. In addition to writing, she speaks on "You are Never Too Young, or Too Old." Linda is proof that there is always time to start a new journey.
