Maureen O'Connor, a Native of California, worked full-time for thirty-six years at Kaiser Permanente before retiring; serving in the departments of Telemetry, Labor & Delivery, Antepartum, Postpartum, Med-Surg, and OBGYN. Her love for architecture, art, color, and design, inherited from her architect father, is evident in her work. A songwriter at heart, Maureen draws inspiration from real life stories and her personal experiences, including the loss of a son to fentanyl overdose, deeply influence her writing. Future projects include a children's book and a song for her daughter. When not writing, Maureen enjoys designing, reading, swimming, travel, and new adventure.
