CLAIRE EAMER is an award-winning writer of nonfiction books for children, including Before the World Was Ready: Stories of Daring Genius in Science and The World in Your Lunch Box: The Wacky History and Weird Science of Everyday Foods. She lives on Gabriola Island, British Columbia. Drew Shannon is an illustrator living in Toronto whose work has been published by The Globe and Mail, The Walrus, Reader's Digest and more. He's also the co-creator of the young adult detective comic series The Montague Twins.
