Ahura Bassimtabar MSc, ist Dozent für Schmerzneurowissenschaft und Sportphysiotherapeut in der ersten Bundesliga. Er unterrichtet seit 2021 das von ihm neu konzipierte Fach "Modern Pain Science" an der Hochschule Fresenius und der Deutschen Sporthochschule Köln. Zudem ist er Physio- und Rehabilitationstherapeut der Profimannschaft von Bayer 04 Leverkusen. Nebenberuflich promoviert er an der Deutschen Sporthochschule in der molekularen und zellulären Sportmedizin.
