A native of San Antonio, Texas, Monica holds a bachelor's degree in Political Science from St. Mary's University.Monica E. Martinez became a widow in 2022 at the age of 45. In the early days of her grief, a former classmate-also a widow-reached out with compassion and support, offering guidance from her own experience. Inspired by that gesture, Monica later extended her own support to other women she knew who found themselves in the same situation of widowhood. In an effort to reach more people who are experiencing the difficulties of losing someone dear, Monica chose to write a storybook that delves into the process of grief, the different phases of sorrow, and the journey towards healing through treasured memories.Through her personal experiences, Monica discovered tranquility in the things and people her husband adored, and she has included some of his favorite items in this book for everyone to appreciate.
