This monograph is intended for archaeologists and historians interested in the archeology of the Stone Age, and is devoted to the scientific interpretation of the Paleolithic monuments Esen-2 and Karakuduq 1-3 stone-working workshop located on the southern and northern slopes of the Barsa-Kelmes bog on the Ustyurt plateau of Karakalpakstan. The monuments were discovered by archaeologist it was discovered by E.B. Bijanov in 1977-1978.The territory of Uzbekistan is one of the countries of the earth rich in Stone Age stone-working workshops. The monograph is devoted to a new interpretation of the Esen-2 and Karakuduq 1-3 stone-working workshops located on the coast of the Barsa-Kelmes depression of the Ustyurt plateau. A unified classification of Central Asian workshops was developed by M.R. Kasimov and L.Ya. Krijevskaya in the 70s of the XX century. In the following years, due to the emergence of new typological and technological methods of studying stone objects and the discovery of a number of workshops in the territory of Uzbekistan, there was an opportunity to develop new cultural-periodic classifications of this type of monuments.
