Janice Ramos Tingley is an author, volunteer, and founder of Nolan's Monsters Production. Raised in Fairfield, California, she now lives in Union City with her husband and two children. Despite navigating life with a learning disability, she pursued her passion for storytelling, becoming the author of Nolan's Dream, Nolan's Monsters, and The Things That Mama Misses. Her works promote values like kindness, perseverance, and courage, offering positive character education for young readers. Beyond writing, she engages in charity work for underprivileged children locally and abroad. Her company creates books, toys, and educational items, and was praised for promoting positive values. In 1998, she received the Mercy Center for Women's Community Leadership Award for her community contributions.
