Tropicália or Panis et Circencis, released in 1968, is a concept album because it integrates Tropicalist aesthetics and language into its corpus. However, it is an album-object that invites the viewer to activate all the senses, synesthetically, because, in the plurality of the universe of each song, there is something to be read, seen, felt and, possibly, transformed, so it became the manifesto of the Vanguard Movement, whose ideologies transformed MPB.

Joceane Lopes Araujo è originaria della città di Pé de Serra, nell'interno di Bahia; appassionata delle memorie del sertão, scrive racconti, poesie e fa ricerche sull'universo del tropicalismo in Brasile e nel mondo.Laureata in Letteratura Vernacolare presso l'UNEB (2004), specializzata in Letteratura bahiana sempre presso l'UNEB (2016); Master in Letteratura e Diversità Culturale (UEFS).
