Autobiography: Jack was born, reared, and educated in Atlanta, Georgia. After his graduation from Georgia Tech he spent thirty-five years in the Direct Mail Advertising and Printing business, before discovering his skills as a Chair Caning and Furniture Restoration Craftsman. In addition to these professional credentials, Jack spent twenty years as a bi-vocational Minister of Music in several churches in the Metro Atlanta area. Jack has three married daughters, eight grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren. Following the passing of his wife Lyn in 2010, Jack responded to what he calls a "Holy Nudge," and in 2012 married Joyce Smith, who was also widowed in 2010. Joyce is the mother of two married sons, five grandchildren, and nine great-grandchildren. Jack and Joyce currently live in Knoxville, Tennessee. Since 2012, Jack and Joyce have engaged in numerous local and international ministries and missions.
