Autorenporträt
Born in 1951 in a village close to the evergreen forests of Idukki, Joseph Narimattom completed his schooling in the nearby village schools and graduated from the University of Kerala in 1972. He served in the state government service until 2006 and has been writing fiction ever since. There are four children s novels and a number of fairy tales to his credit. He has written as many as 65 short stories and a novel dealing with the problems faced by women in his home state.
